Full Strength Galaxy Hope to Rally From Loss vs DC United

LA, who once again lost to Colorado without its full complement of starters, look east towards DC in what would seem to be a game that should be easily managed. DC is the worst team in the league, on 14 points from 27 games, and have only scored 16 goals this year. That being said, LA has had a hard time away from Carson this season. With a 4-8-2 record, any away game isn’t a lock even if it’s against MLS’ worst team. On top of that, LA has a big game against Seattle next week. Add to that, this will be the first of 3 games in a week for LA between MLS and CCL play. Needless to say, this game can have all the makings of a trap game if LA doesn’t stay focused.

AJ De La Garza

LA will have their first choice starting XI available with Omar Gonzalez, Landon Donovan, and Robbie Keane all coming back from World Cup qualifying duty. The timing couldn’t be more perfect for LA as prepares for a 3 way dogfight between RSL and Seattle for the Supporters Shield and home-field advantage as well as trying to solidify their own playoff position. LA is still only 3 points from being out of the playoffs at this point in the season so having all hands on deck as a run-up to a tough week of games.

All Time Meetings – 18-13-8 Galaxy
Last Game – 3/18/2012 3-1 Galaxy
Suspended on Next Yellow – Juninho

Projected Starting XI (left to right):
GK: Penedo
